Effects of the Planetary Field on the Accretion Process of a Planet in the Final Stage of Giant Planet Formation

Abstract Recent studies suggest that the magnetic field may play an important role in formation of giant planets during final stage process. In this paper, we construct a circumplanetary system around planet is to investigate effects planetary on accretion process at stage. We find early times our magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) simulation, loops connecting and material inflate upward due build-up toroidal pressure with islands forming inside loops, which changes flow pattern above comparison hydrodynamic case. low-density gap, produced by strong pressure, appears along disk’s surface expands as evolves. Accompanied disk surface, lines can reconnect anchored planet. Thus, permeate into via reconnection be accreted through loops. Comparing results MHD simulations, mass rate angular momentum transport from infalling gas do not change apparently when are included, but these rates increase significantly order magnitude.
